Scott started his career in the financial world with a large full-service firm. After realizing his clients’ needs were out growing his full-service firm, he discovered the independent broker-dealer space and formed his first wealth management firm with a close friend whom was also in the independent financial world. Their firm grew quickly and in 2007 acquired Baikie & Alcantara Investments, a small regional firm located in Santa Cruz CA that was established in 1935. A few years later, his partner left the industry to pursue an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Scott was forced to find another trustworthy partner, which he did in Matthew Pulsipher. Their firm continued to grow and a few years later, they acquired City Financial Group in Vancouver WA. In 2015 City Fiduciary Group, A Wealth Management Company was formed by merging Baikie & Alcantara and City Financial Group with Scott, Matt and another successful and trusted financial advisor, Jeff Brooks. With the needs of the firm and clients growing quickly, Scott, Matt, and Jeff were led to KMS Financial Services, and eventually Securities America, to help meet those soaring needs.
Scott graduated from the University of Utah, as a member of the Honor Society, where he studied Economics.
